The Open Call for the MED-Hubs Acceleration Program is now open. This free and equity-free pathway is designed for blue economy startups ready to scale internationally.
The program targets startups at an advanced prototyping stage (TRL 4–8), established from 2019 onwards, developing solutions in the following sectors:
- Sustainable fisheries
- Aquaculture and fish farming
- Marine renewable energy
- Green maritime transport
- Smart ports & marinas
What the program offers
Selected startups will access a structured acceleration pathway including:
- Personalized 1:1 coaching with international experts
- MVP pilot implementation between Italy and Spain
- Support in accessing European public funding
- International business development
- Investor introductions and pitch preparation
- Participation in the International Demo Day in Naples (September 2027)
- Visibility opportunities at the Global Sustainable Island Summit
MED-Hubs supports startups in validating their business models, defining go-to-market strategies, and preparing for investment, while fostering partnerships with companies, public stakeholders, and research centers.
The program runs from April 2026 to September 2027, with an initial online phase followed by pilot implementation and post-program support.
